My submission to the Versailles in SL Photo contest. I was the runner up :) Made my friday evening.

(1st place went to Brownbat Resident She got my vote lol)

The goal was to try to capture the splendor of Versailles. I was inspired by the paintings of the 18th century french painter Nattier. His work is amazing. Especially in the portraits of women and the way the have this draped fabric almost floating around them.

Due to time constrain I had to be satisfied with just making a sash,but I think maybe that was for the best.

Lets begin my new tumblr with some 1780s wigs that I had great fun in creating and that I hope you will have fun wearing :D

First one is named “Pouf Sentiment de Mme Savatier” after a very dear friend of mine from SL. She told me later that after she put it on,she felt “an urge to storm the bastille”

Second one is more modestly named “Rosalie” but you can just call her “poofy”

Both are 200 L and are available at Cindercroft
